Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Drone Specialist based in Athens, Greece, with flexibility to work from home for some tasks. The Drone Specialist will oversee and execute UAV-based inspection projects, including drone piloting, flight planning, and data collection. Responsibilities include managing drone operations, ensuring payload functionality, conducting on-site inspections, and preparing detailed reports based on collected data. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to deliver innovative drone services and assisting in maintaining the operational readiness of UAV equipment.

Qualifications

Proven proficiency in Drone Piloting, UAV operation, and familiarity with various drone technologies
Experience with Flight Planning, Operations Management, and efficient execution of drone-based projects
Ability to travel internationally for project deployments
Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance for UAV operations
Technical aptitude for operating and troubleshooting advanced drone sensors such as UTM, LiDAR, and thermal imaging
Ability to work autonomously and in hybrid work environments, with occasional on-site requirements
Strong analytical skills for interpreting data, creating reports, and delivering actionable insights
Familiarity with maritime or industrial inspection processes is a significant advantage
